Glenlyon Gourmet's own Lamb, Venison and Game birds have been reared on the Estate by experienced and highly professional farmers, gamekeepers and deer stalkers, who take immense pride in their work. They work tirelessly to make sure that all the animals are in good condition, comfortable and content.
Our butchers, who process the meat, are also superb. They know exactly how long to hang each cut to bring out the wonderful flavours and their butchery skills are second to none. Each cut is trimmed to perfection before being packed, frozen and sent to you. It is this care and attention from "Estate to Plate" that makes Glenlyon Gourmet's meat so excellent.
We have sourced the very finest grass-fed Perthshire Beef and free-range Pork to add to our selection. They are bought directly from the farms and all hand selected for their perfect condition and weight. The farms have been chosen for the way in which they rear the animals outdoors and keep them in accordance with freedom food regulations. The result of the care and attention given, is perfect meat every time.
