Oriental Lamb Burgers

Ingredients

  • 450g/1lb Minced Lamb

  • 1 teasp finely chopped Lemon Grass

  • 1 Small Onion, finely chopped

  • 1 Chilli, deseeded and finely chopped

  • 1 tbsp Freshly chopped Mint

  • The Juice and finely grated Zest of 1 Lime

  • 2 Garlic Cloves, finely chopped

  • 1 tbsp Thai Fish Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Thai Curry Paste

  • Oil for brushing

Instructions


1. Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl (apart from the oil) and mix well, squidging the mixture with your fingers
2. Using damp hands, divide the mixture into 8 portions and form into small burgers, no thicker than 12mm/ ½ -inch.
3. Brush the burgers with a little oil then cook over medium/hot coals for 5 - 7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
