The Fish Society are a fantastic online fishmongers, who sell fresh, frozen fish of pretty much every type you can think of. The only real way to keep the freshness in fish is to freeze it immediately, (unless you are lucky enough to be able to buy it straight off the boat!) Whisky Online
Before Whisky-online started trading they used to trade under the name Coronation Wines which was first established in 1990.
Originally an average Off Licence, it became clear to them that they would have to be different from your local Off Licence to compete and after only a few months they started to add some odd and unusual items to their stock.
One of the first items they added to our window display was the run of the mill miniatures as they were easy to get hold of. They were surprised how fast they sold and thought it was because they were inexpensive, but soon realised that people collected them.
To keep people interested they had to find miniatures, which were a bit more unusual. This was not easy at first, but they found that by stocking the more unusual bottles, collectors started to find out about them and come to their shop, specifically for collectables.
They found it was as much fun for them to try and find these crazy little bottles as it was for the collector.
Then came the big ones (70cl bottles and decanters) . They had more and more customers coming in asking for the limited edition bottles and rarer decanters, so over the years they started to buy more and more.
They now have a vast range in stock of your normal and mainstream Malts, but more excitingly have an impressive range of unusual and difficult to find collectables.
